The polarized lenses are what you are really paying for. Buying a pair of non-polarized lenses is basically paying for the brand. The amount of light blocked with a non-polarized lens is almost equivalent to the cheap free sunglasses you receive from marketers. I'd HIGHLY recommend the polarized pair, you're not only getting the Ray-Ban brand but also a pair of lenses that are functional. It is worth paying the premium for the polarized lenses.

These glasses feel great to hold. They frame is thin yet it seems to be of very high quality construction. The lenses have some decent weight to them but that doesn't make the glasses feel heavy.I love these glasses.
